Gin Rummy — About

Gin Rummy is a two-player draw-and-discard card game against adaptive AI. Form melds from three or more cards of one rank or a same-suit sequence, then keep unmatched deadwood low.

Gin Rummy — How to Play

Choose a table, then take the top card from the stock or discard pile. After drawing, discard one card from your hand; the in-game prompt uses a double tap to discard. Build rank sets or same-suit runs, and knock when your deadwood is below 10.

Gin Rummy — Rules

A meld is three or more cards of the same rank or a sequence of consecutive ranks in one suit. A card cannot belong to multiple melds. Unmatched cards count as deadwood. You may knock below 10 deadwood; the lower-deadwood player wins the round. The help panel lists a 25-point Gin bonus at zero deadwood, a 50-point Super Gin bonus with a meld of five or more cards, and a 25-point undercut bonus. The selected table shows the score goal.

Gin Rummy — Tips & Strategy

Keep pairs and same-suit sequences that can grow into melds. Compare the visible discard with your hand before taking it, and track which ranks or suits are helping your combinations. When a knock becomes available, check your deadwood and the table score before ending the round.

The in-game help says you can knock when your deadwood value is less than 10.

The player with less deadwood wins the round. Gin, Super Gin, and undercut bonuses are shown in the in-game help; the score target is displayed for the selected table.
